Getting to ISS

The main entrance of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS) is located in Viale Regina Elena, 299, Rome, in front of the Città Universitaria “Sapienza”.

Secondary entrances are placed in Via del Castro Laurenziano, 10 and 25, and in Piazzale Valerio Massimo, 5.

How to get to the Institute

From airport “Leonardo da Vinci” (Fiumicino)
The airport is connected to Termini railway station by 30 minutes non stop trains, and to the Tiburtina railway station by 45 minutes trains

From airport “G.B. Pastine” (Ciampino)
You can take:
Terravision, Schiaffini Travel or SIT buses to Termini station
Cotral bus to Anagnina subway Line B station

From Termini railway station
You can take:
492 or 310 bus (get off at the Universita’/Regina Elena stop, about 4 minutes walk from the Institute)
Subway Line B Rebibbia/Ionio direction (get off at the “Policlinico” stop, about 8 minutes walk from the Institute)

From Tiburtina railway station
You can take:
492, 71 or 448 bus (get off at the Verano stop, about 4 minutes walk from the Institute)
Subway Line B Laurentina direction (get off at the “Policlinico” stop, about 8 minutes walk from the Institute)
